Moroccan Recipe: Ghassoul clay mask (face)

Hey loves!
This morning I woke up with yucky skin: dilated pores, baby whiteheads etc.
All that stress must have gotten to my skin so I decided to treat it to a purifying clay mask in pure Moroccan tradition!

Coucou mes jolies!Ce matin j'ai vu que mon grain de peau était très irrégulier avec plein d'imperfections.  J'ai donc décidé d'une intervention en urgence: le fameux masque ghassoul purifiant bien de chez nous.

I love the brand Tiyya because their Ghassoul is infused with Eucalyptus essential oils ^_^

Important: 

It's normal to feel the skin is hot or even reddish after using this; it means the clay's astringent properties are working.

C'est normal de sentir une chaleur ou des rougeurs après utilisation de ce masque, les qualités drainantes et astringentes de l'argile se font sentir.

One spoon Ghassoul, a little water and mix it! voilà!

This Ghassoul already has essential oils so I just poured water.
If you have plain ghassoul, you can mix with rosewater, you can also add tee tree oil or spearmint oil :)

Afterwards, I clean my face with a muselin cloth

How to put makeup on top of a popped pimple?

We all have them… those days when you wake up with a pimple the size of Alabama.

Well I had been going through a stressful time and besides tummy woes and loss of sleep,  I also knew I’d have a few zits to decorate my face.

I was a very good girl. Didn’t tamper with my face, but the pimple was getting bigger by the day and finally it popped by itself (great visual here right?)

I wanted to share with you a little trick to still wear makeup with a popped zit.

Liquid bandaid!

I just apply a little bit of liquid bandaid to the pimple to seal it, let it dry and then put some concealer on top of it. The makeup application goes on very smooth, and the pimple heals with no pigmentation.

J’en mets un peu sur mon bouton, puis j’applique un cache-cernes ou correcteur et je continue mon maquillage normal.Ça empêche le bouton d’enfler et s’inflammer Alors n’est-ce pas une bonne astuce ça ?
